RDW's poems

Just the Facts

photons bouncing off your matter, matter to me
variations in the spectrum make an image
in dimensions of luminance and chrominance

I see you

the gas between us compresses and expands, quickly;
shocks my ear; the frequencies are analysed
by waves of fluid in my three and one-half turns internal snail

I hear you

subcutaneous axons have their glory moment
are then refractory; wait, like aged me, recharge;
synapses propogate, eventually reach the brain

I touch you

there are no physics to explain – or cure –
what happens when we kiss
